Angkor Wat

From Thailand we moved on into Cambodia. Our first stop was Siem Reap to see Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples. Our friend Sarah also joined us for these temples. For those of you who are more pop culture than ancient history, this is where they filmed the movie Tomb Raider. We spent 3 days exploring the temples and ruins, and I didn't find any ancient treasures the entire time.

Yeah!!!!!! I AM SOOOOOOO GLAD you went to Cambodia, Kanchanaburi, and you're staying for 160B/night in BKK! Yes!!! I love it. I just love it and wish I were there. I know you're having a ball.

Oh my gosh, you have to go to the Nokia Ultraplex at Siam Paragon and see a movie while you're still in Bangkok. http://www.bangkok.com/night-time-entertainment-for-families/cinemas-in-bangkok.html It's worth the 600B it will cost you and moviegoing will never be the same again...

By the way, have you tried the Durian?

We're headed back to Bangkok before we leave for India, so I'll be sure to try to check those out. Thanks!
